Dr. Alejandro Garza earned his medical degree at La Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in Monterrey Nuevo León. He then performed wound care research and a vascular rotation at Northwestern University in Chicago. He completed his general surgery residency at DHR Health through the University of Texas RGV as part of their inaugural class. He completed his vascular surgery fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, Michael E. DeBakey program in Houston Texas.
Native from the Rio Grande Valley, he is fluent in English and Spanish. Dr Garza will treat DHR Health patients diagnosed with aneurysm, cerebrovascular arterial disease, arterial or venous blood clots, lower extremity pain, varicose vein and any other disease or conditions affecting arteries and veins.
