The DHR Health Women's Hospital is proud to offer the only certified Lamaze class in the Rio Grande Valley! Held for four (4) consecutive weeks, the Lamaze class meets every Wednesday from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at the Women's Hospital Education Room.

The next class will meet on November 6, 13,20, 27.

The goal of Lamaze at the Women's Hospital is to learn about:

Normal labor and birth

Focused breathing techniques for labor

Relaxation techniques such as massage, walking and position changes

Tips to help your partner encourage and support you during labor

Epidural and other options for managing pain with medication
