Biography
Dr. Dileep Menon is board certified in Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Medicine, Cardiac Computed Tomography and Interventional Cardiology. He practices evidence-based medicine to prevent, diagnose and treat the entire spectrum of cardiovascular diseases including coronary artery disease, hypertension, lipid disorders, heart rhythm disorders, valvular heart disease and peripheral vascular disorders. His special interests and skills are in trans-radial cardiac catheterization and trans-radial percutaneous coronary interventions.
Dr. Menon graduated from medical school in JIPMER, Pondicherry, India. He then did his Internal Medicine residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, IL followed by a Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology fellowship at SUNY Stony Brook, NY. He moved to the Rio Grande Valley upon completion of his fellowship to pursue his career as an Interventional Cardiologist.
