Biography
A native of the Rio Grande Valley, Dr. Gaudencio Olgin received his Bachelor of Science degree from UT-Pan American. He received his Doctor of Medicine from UT-Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX, and completed general surgery and urology residency training at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. Most recently, he pursued a fellowship in minimally invasive endourology at Loma Linda University Medical Center in California.
Dr. Olgin specializes in minimally invasive urologic surgery, including robotic and laparoscopic techniques. He is specially trained in the metabolic and surgical management of complex urinary stone diseases. Dr. Olgin joins the Urology Institute at Renaissance, the Valley’s premier multispecialty urology team.
