Biography
Dr. R. Dewayne Edwards is board certified by the American Board of Surgery in general surgery, providing enhanced surgical care for a broad range of diseases and disorders.
Utilizing state-of-the-art technology, Dr. Edwards will provide surgical care, with many minimally invasive options, for a wide spectrum of conditions, including gallbladder removal, hernia repair, abdominal surgery, vascular surgery, and trauma critical care.
Dr. Edwards received his medical degree at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia. He received his general surgery residency at Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas. He continued his education with a surgical critical care and burn surgery fellowship at Creighton University Health Sciences in Phoenix, Arizona.
