Sridhar Allam, MD

Biography

DHR Health Transplant Institute is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Sridhar Allam, a transplant nephrologist to its team. Board-certified in internal medicine and nephrology. Dr. Allam brings a wealth of expertise in the area of transplant nephrology as he works with kidney patients. His role as a physician involves evaluating prospective kidney transplant candidates, optimizing their health before transplantation, and managing their care post-transplant to ensure successful long-term kidney function. Dr. Allam attended medical school at Andhra Medical College in India, followed by a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Texas in Houston. His training continued with an internal medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, and fellowships in general and transplant nephrology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York. Before joining DHR Health, he served as the Medical Director for Medical City Fort Worth’s Transplant Institute.
