The Pharmacy Department at DHR Health is committed to providing pharmacy residents with the highest quality of training with experienced preceptors in a variety of patient care settings. Pharmacy residents will gain the knowledge and skills required to become successful clinical pharmacists that can provide excellent patient care. The DHR Health Pharmacy Residency Program focuses on training highly motivated pharmacists by developing clinical skills, teaching, research, communication, and leadership.

PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program

DHR Health offers a Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) pharmacy residency program designed to advance the practice of post graduate pharmacists. The DHR Health pharmacy residency program exposes residents to a comprehensive clinical environment in which they will develop knowledge and skills in direct patient care in both ambulatory and acute care settings. The residency is designed to offer an individualized training plan for each resident based on their interests, goals, and past experiences. The program has four residency positions available with competitive salaries and benefits. Graduating residents would be eligible for board certification, postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training, and placement in advanced clinical pharmacy roles.
