Biography

Sandeep Patel, DO, is a board-certified Gastroenterology- Advanced Endoscopy Specialist and a leader in clinical, educational, and research programs. He specializes in utilizing innovative endoscopic techniques. Dr. Patel will see patients in need of:

• Pancreaticobiliary Disease Management
• Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
• Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)

Dr. Patel graduated from the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. He completed his residency in internal medicine at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center with Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. Dr. Patel is fellowship trained in gastroenterology from the University of Massachusetts in Worcester and in gastroenterology interventional endoscopy from Gastroenterology Consultants, Ltd. In Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He served as the founding director of the Advanced Endoscopy Program at UT Health San Antonio for 17 years.
