We’ve seen firsthand the people who sometimes slip through the cracks: uninsured senior citizens … underserved veterans … teenagers with no access to health care … and so many more. The Renaissance Cares Foundation is a nonprofit corporation that helps community members who can’t get the health services they need and deserve.

It’s so important that patients focus on their health during the day-to-day journey with cancer. That’s what we have in mind when we offer funding for chemotherapy treatment, medicine, surgery, imaging studies, house and utility bills, transportation, lodging, nutritional supplements and hair loss items. A cancer patient with limited savings and health insurance shouldn’t have to struggle.
The Renaissance Cancer Foundation organizes and hosts many kinds of events. These help raise funds, promote early cancer detection and prevention and provide support for cancer patients and celebrating survivors. When you give to the Renaissance Cares Foundation, you help fund programs for people who live in the Rio Grande Valley (RGV). These community members struggle to get the goods, services, and other helpful resources they need.
Thanks to you, our programs help recipients receive health services, learn how to prevent and manage health problems, and even get nutritional guidance. Whether it’s a first-time mother who needs in-home training or a veteran’s family seeking counseling, we’re there with comfort and support. Your donations also provide for scientific research projects and staff training on health conditions that are often found in the RGV.
