All insurance plans are accepted, and we are located close to the DHR Health Emergency Room should the need for more emergent care arise. Just walk right in, no appointment is necessary.

Board Certified Care

All of the physicians in the Pediatric ER are board certified and have extensive experience providing emergency care for young patients. We offer round-the-clock access to DHR experts in more than 15 pediatric specialties and to the full facilities of our hospital. Some of the additional pediatric specialty services include gastroenterology, neurosurgery, nephrology, orthopedics, pulmonology, trauma and urology.

Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

A child or adolescent who may be experiencing disorders of thinking, feeling and/or behavior can benefit from visiting our behavioral hospital. Our psychiatrists use knowledge of biological, psychological and social factors to provide the best treatments possible. Therapy and treatments are held in a safe and welcoming environment to ensure that our young patients are comfortable. We treat children ages 3 to 12 and adolescents ages 13 to 17 whose acute symptoms require a safe and therapeutic environment.

Treatment plans include comprehensive psychiatric and medical assessments, group therapy, medication management, and family involvement. Therapeutic interventions include evidence-based theoretical approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Discharge planning is initiated at the time of admission and revised throughout the hospitalization. A written aftercare plan is developed with the participation of the child/adolescent and family. It includes recommendations for further treatment, and follow-up appointments are scheduled as needed.

Imaging

The imaging centers at DHR Health provide you with high quality care in several convenient locations. Our team of skilled radiologists works with you to coordinate the imaging services you need regarding diagnostic or treatment services. At our Breast Center of Excellence, women receive the best in breast screening technology with 3D mammograms that provide earlier diagnosis and more accurate detection of breast cancer. As a patient at DHR Health, you benefit from the newest technology and the most up-to-date treatments for the best results.

Outpatient Rehabilitation

DHR Health Outpatient Rehabilitation provides a wealth of specialties and convenient locations for the benefit of the communities we serve. Our commitment to enhancing overall quality of life is demonstrated by our personalized care, specialty-trained therapists, diagnosis-specific programs, and access to advanced rehabilitation technology. Our service lines include orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, neurorehabilitation, scoliosis care, hand therapy, aquatic therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, pelvic health, and lymphedema management.

Patients aged 10 and older will continue to receive services at DHR Health. 

Trauma

The DHR Health Level 1 Trauma Center provides care 7 days a week by board-certified physicians specially trained in emergency medicine. The ER is equipped to meet the special needs of our pediatric patients, ranging from minor injuries and illnesses to trauma. Our team is specially trained to be attentive and sensitive to the needs of children and their families.
